2008 Cargill announced investment and expansion of its Baupte Texturizing Facility.
2006 Cargill announced its intention to construct a new rapeseed crushing plant in Montoir, for the supply of vegetable oil to Diester for biodiesel production.
2006 Cargill acquired Degussa’s Food ingredients business, including its French sites in Grasse, Baupte, Redon, La Ferte-sous-Jouarre and Lannilis.
2006 Cargill announced significant investment in its oilseeds crush and refinery in Brest.
2003 Cargill acquired OCG Cacao's industrial chocolate business.
2002 Cargill acquired the remaining 50% of AOP bottled oils joint venture from Vandermoortele.
2002 Cargill acquired Cerestar - a leading provider of starch and starch derivatives - the largest acquisition in Cargill's history. This acquisition included Cerestar's starches and sweeteners plant in Haubourdin.
